MediLink enables transmission at 1200 bits per second (1.2 Kbps) that is compatible with virtually any current communications medium including satellites.   Reception and display of the data can occur over the internet to computer screens and televisions via Set Top boxes.  The compression technology works exceptionally well at standard dial-up Internet access speeds.
